Quality Assurance
Whenever we are working on an order, our primary concern is maintaining a high standard of quality. As such, Compass Bending follows a rigorous system of quality assurance processes including destructive testing and non-destructive examinations.
We perform magnetic particle inspection, hardness and wall thickness tests, ultrasonic weld seam inspections and holiday testing based on the requirements of each order and in compliance with the standards of the companies involved. More specialized testing is also available on request, including pressure testing and pulling sizing plates.
All pipeline bends come complete with the required testing, mill test reports and project reports. We maintain policies for various individual end users should they differ from or go beyond CSA codes.
